You took my love, my trust, and my purity
You bruised me and scarred me
With the least bit of decency
It's hard to forgive
And impossible to forget
What you did to me
gave me a scary mind set
I'm ready to move on
But you must understand
That you had my life
In the palm of your hand
I may never be able to
Explain what you did
The pain, the memories
I ran, and I hid
Life will always have
It's twists and it's turns
But it has to be that way
It's the way one learns
The turn you caused my life to take
I asked God to forgive
For your sake
